- Store the prefilled pen in the refrigerator until you are ready to inject
- Take out of refrigerator and leave at room temperature for 15-30 minutes
- Check expiration date, do not use if past expiration
- Make sure liquid is clear and colorless
- Do not use if prefilled pen has been dropped, crushed or damaged in any way
Choose the stomach (belly) or thigh for an injection site. Wipe the injection site with an alcohol swab.
Pull the clear cap straight off.
Do not press the gray needle guard with your fingers.
Place the gray end of the pen against your skin at a 90 degree angle (90°).
Press the pen firmly against your skin, and you will hear the first “Click.”
Hold firmly until the orange
indicator stops moving and
you hear the second “Click.”
After second “Click” hold the
pen in place and count to 5.

Dosing

Juvenile idopathic arthritis
The recommended dose of YUSIMRY for pediatric patients is based on weight. For pediatric patients aged 2 years and older weighing 66 lbs (30 kg) and greater, the recommended dosage is 40 mg every other week.*
*There is no dosage form for YUSIMRY that allows weight-based dosing for pediatric patients below 30 kg.
Psoriatic Arthritis
The recommended dosage of YUSIMRY for adult patients is 40 mg administered every other week.
Ankylosing Spondylitis
The recommended dosage of YUSIMRY for adult patients is 40 mg administered every other week.
Crohn’s Disease
The recommended dosage of YUSIMRY for adults is 160 mg initially on Day 1 (given in one day or split over two consecutive days), followed by 80 mg two weeks later (Day 15).
Two weeks later (Day 29) begin a dosage of 40 mg every other week.
Ulcerative Colitis
The recommended dosage of YUSIMRY for adults is 160 mg initially on Day 1 (given in one day or split over two consecutive days), followed by 80 mg two weeks later (Day 15).
Two weeks later (Day 29) begin a dosage of 40 mg every other week.
Plaque Psoriasis
The recommended dosage of YUSIMRY for adult patients is an initial dose of 80 mg, followed by 40 mg given every other week starting one week after the initial dose.
Hidradenitis Suppurativa
The recommended subcutaneous dosage of YUSIMRY for adult patients with hidradenitis suppurativa is an initial dose of 160 mg (given in one day or split over two consecutive days), followed by 80 mg two weeks later (Day 15). Begin 40 mg weekly or 80 mg every other week dosing two weeks later (Day 29).
