YUSIMRY is part of an effort to reduce treatment costs without compromising on quality

Proven biosimilarity to Humira® (adalimumab)

YUSIMRY® (adalimumab-aqvh) is a medication indicated to treat multiple conditions across rheumatology (bones, muscles, and joints), gastroenterology (digestive system), and dermatology (skin). Biosimilars like YUSIMRY are specifically intended to give patients like you access to familiar treatments at an affordable cost.

YUSIMRY is a TNF blocker

YUSIMRY is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blocker. In certain auto-immune conditions, the body may begin to produce too much of a protein called TNF alpha. When this happens, your immune system tries to compensate, causing inflammation, pain, and swelling in the body.

YUSIMRY works to block TNF-alpha, which is responsible for the overproduction of inflammation in the body

A doctor may prescribe YUSIMRY to help reduce inflammation on the skin or in your body or to improve joint pain. You may be taking YUSIMRY alone or with certain other medications. Click on a condition below to see how YUSIMRY may help you.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is a type of arthritis that causes painful inflammation in your body’s joints. It commonly attacks the hands, wrists, and knees. YUSIMRY can help your ability to perform daily activities and may help prevent further damage to your bones and joints.

Juvenile Idopathic Arthritis

Juvenile idiopathic arthritis is the most common type of arthritis in children and teens. It primarily causes joint pain in the limbs, but it may affect other parts of the body. YUSIMRY can help improve the signs and symptoms of juvenile idiopathic arthritis and increase the time between flares.

Psoriatic
Arthritis

Psoriatic arthritis is a condition in your joints, where tendons and ligaments connect to your bones. This can cause pain and restrict movement. It also causes the red, scaly skin patches that we call plaques. YUSIMRY may help your ability to perform daily activities and may prevent further damage to your bones and joints.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing spondylitis is a type of arthritis that causes inflammation in the spine. The joints and ligaments that normally help us move and bend can become stiff. YUSIMRY can reduce symptoms like back pain and stiffness, making it easier to move your body.

Crohn's
Disease

Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel disease that can cause chronic inflammation in your digestive system. YUSIMRY can reduce the signs and symptoms of Crohn’s disease, helping you reach and stay in remission.

Ulcerative
Colitis

Ulcerative Colitis is a disease of the large intestine. Flares happen when inflammation causes ulcers to develop in the colon. YUSIMRY can reduce signs and symptoms of Ulcerative Colitis to help you reach and stay in remission.*

*It is not known if YUSIMRY is effective in people who stopped responding to or could not tolerate anti-TNF medicines.

Plaque
Psoriasis

Plaque psoriasis is a condition that causes the body to make new skin cells too rapidly. These cells pile up on the surface of the skin, causing thick, scaly patches. YUSIMRY can help you achieve clearer skin by reducing the inflammation that causes psoriasis plaques.

Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Hidradenitis suppurativa  is a skin condition. It can cause painful lumps, usually in areas where skin touches skin, like the armpits, inner thighs, and groin. YUSIMRY can help reduce the number and severity of flare-ups in patients with hidradenitis suppurativa.

Individual results may vary.

Biosimilars can offer patients high-quality treatment while reducing costs

YUSIMRY is a type of medication called a biosimilar, which is a highly similar version of an originally approved drug (in this case, Humira).

To receive official approval from the FDA, a biosimilar medication must prove similarity and demonstrate no significant differences in safety, drug purity, or effectiveness from the reference product.

Watch a short video to learn more about biosimilars.

YUSIMRY met FDA approval standards in every category to confirm similarity to Humira:

In two clinical studies, side effects with YUSIMRY were shown to be similar to those of Humira

The most common side effects of YUSIMRY are headache, upper respiratory tract infection, injection site rash, back pain, and gastroenteritis viral.

These are not all the possible side effects of YUSIMRY. Talk with your doctor about managing any side effects you may experience during treatment. Be sure to review the Medication Guide for more side effect information.
